Hao Yu is an associate professor in the Hangzhou International Innovation Institute, Beihang University. He received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in communication engineering from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), Beijing, China, in 2015 and 2020. He was also a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Information and Communications Engineering, Aalto University, Finland from 2021 to 2022, and in the Center of Wireless Communications, University of Oulu, Finland from 2022 to 2024. He has been  working in the ICTFicial Oy, Finland as a senior researcher from 2024 to 2025. His research interests include AI-driven low-altitude networks, edge intelligence, time-sensitive networks, and 6G deterministic networking. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed research papers and been the reviewers in the leading international journals and conference proceedings, including IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, IEEE Transaction on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transaction on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management, and IEEE/OPTICA Journal of Optical Communications and Networking.
